For the majority of West Australian industry\, its pipeline to Defence work is through major programs and major primes. While much of the focus in rightly spent on future work\, there are immediate requirements in local industry that can be addressed.\n  The small to medium enterprise (SMEs) have tremendous capability and innovative techniques for solving problems. In combination with each other\, and through collaboration\, the SMEs have the potential to solve the immediate challenges.\n  The AIDN-WA “Immediate Challenges Series” aims to bring these elements together. The primes experience the problems that the SME community has the potential to solve.
